Propane gas has a distinct odor that some describe as sulfur, rotten eggs, or a dead animal.

If you smell, hear, or see propane gas

Please Follow the Steps Below

Extinguish Open Flames

Never turn off or on any lights.

Avoid using appliances, televisions, or telephones to prevent generating electrical sparks or static.

Leave the Premises

Get out of the building!

Ensure the entire family and any pets are a safe distance from the house.

Turn Off Gas at Your Tank

Only do this if you can access it safely.

In order to close the valve, turn it clockwise all the way to the right.

Report It

Contact ThompsonGas immediately to report the issue.

Stay with friends or neighbors.

Remain out of the building until ThompsonGas determines it is safe to return.
