Formerly known as “the Raccoon Capital of the World”, Rogersville has since been ranked the Eighth best place to live in Southwest Missouri, and is home to a happy, welcoming community.
Rogersville is located in Webster, and Green County, and was founded after the Kansas City and Memphis Railroad company convinced a pioneer doctor by the name of Isaac Rogers to donate $50 towards surveying the town if they name it after him. The community today has many events that bring people together, including a citywide garage sale, city clean-ups, and community sports games.
