With More Than 12 Years of Sales and Customer Service Experience at ThompsonGas, Ann Kastle is Promoted to the Position of Customer Relations & Sales Specialist.
Boonsboro, MD (PRWEB) November 21, 2012– ThompsonGas, one of the fastest growing propane companies in the U.S., is very proud to announce that Ann Kastle of Martinsburg, W.Va., was promoted to the position of customer relations and sales specialist. Ann has worked at ThompsonGas since October 2000, first as a sales associate in Charlestown, W.Va., Boonsboro, Md., and Purcellville, Va., then as a customer service representative for the past two years in Ranson, W.Va. In her new role, Ann is responsible for all aspects of sales and customer service in the Berkeley Springs, W.Va. office.
“I’m very excited to help grow the business in this area and get the ThompsonGas name out there,” Ann says. “I hope to create a friendly, down-home atmosphere. I want existing customers and new customers alike to feel that they have someone in the office they can turn to with any concerns or issues, and I will treat them as I would want to be treated.”
Since joining the company more than 12 years ago, Ann has witnessed firsthand ThompsonGas’ impressive growth and taken pride in maintaining personal relationships with customers despite the company’s national expansion. “I absolutely love selling hearth products and signing up new customers,” she says. “I enjoy visiting potential customers’ homes and helping them choose which solutions will work best for them. I have developed a relationship with all of my customers and appreciate them only wanting to work with me.”
Ann began her career selling electronic components in Baltimore before devoting her full time to raising a family. She returned to the workplace in 2000 as a sales associate at ThompsonGas. For the past two years she has been involved in providing exceptional customer service, and gaining and providing valuable knowledge to both ThompsonGas customers and staff.
“Ann’s outgoing personality and drive for customer service make her perfect for this position,” says John Olivo, ThompsonGas district manager for the Boonsboro, Md., Ranson, W.Va, and Berkeley Springs, W.Va. offices. “Ann has a way with customers that makes them want to talk to her. She will impact the company greatly by establishing new key relationships, going after a homebuilding and renovation marketing that’s rising again and just being out in the community. Ann will be involved and it will get to the point that if anybody needs anything, Ann will be the only person they call.”
Outside of work, Ann is an avid reader and football fan, but most of her spare time is devoted to her children. Her son is a U.S. Marine who runs a recruiting station in Leesburg, Va. Ann mentors other parents whose sons or daughters are leaving for boot camp, helping them cope with the stressors of being a Marine parent. Ann’s daughter is a Maryland high school teacher who will graduate with her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in December.
