Kickin’ in the Fall Season

It is officially fall on September 22nd this year, but that doesn’t mean the outdoor fun has to end! In fact, fall is one of the most beautiful seasons and should be enjoyed in all its pumpkin picking, tailgating, glory! In preparation for those blustery days and cooler nights, we’ve put together the perfect list of ways to extend your summer and get the most out of fall!

  • Invest in a Propane Patio Heater- Propane patio heaters are a great way to extend those disappearing summer nights. They come in all different shapes and sizes and can heat spaces up to 10 feet or more. Tell your friends to leave their jackets and mittens at home and enjoy a relaxing (and warm) get together on your patio. Throw in some spiked apple cider to really leave an impression. Not sure which heater is the best? Here are some ways to find the perfect patio heater for your family’s needs.
  • Get Your Grill Going- Grilling is a summer staple, but there’s no laws saying you can’t grill after Labor Day. Try seasonal favorites like butternut squash skewers or some grilled lamb paired with a fresh fall salad topped with gorgonzola and candied pecans! Hungry yet?
  • Grab a Camping Ring-Some of the best memories are made on cool nights sitting around a campfire and thanks to campfire rings, you can bring those memories home! Grab a camping ring and set it up in your backyard to surprise your kids with s’mores or enjoy a special evening sipping wine under a blanket with the one you love.
  • Keep Your Tank Secure- With all the excitement of a new season and everything that comes with it, be sure to keep your propane tanks properly stored. Propane tanks should always be kept in an upright position, even when they aren’t being used! To avoid people tripping or knocking over your propane tank, keep it secure by using a tankfoot. Check with your local ThompsonGas propane supplier if you don’t have one.
