ThompsonGas Gives Back To Maryland’s Washington County

It was humid, hot and hazy on June 25th, but that didn’t stop ThompsonGas employees, customers, vendors and friends from taking part in the 17th Annual Charity Golf Outing.

Director of Executive Administration for ThompsonGas, Tristan Warwick was impressed by the amount of golfers eager to hit the green: “Just an amazing turnout, really, especially considering the heat.  Not only is the golf outing something we all look forward to each year, it’s nice to be able to give back to the community.”

Tristan, who has headed the tournament since it’s inception, is referring to the charitable donations generated for local Washington County organizations. “As a family owned company located here in Hagerstown, Randy (Thompson) really believes in the importance of giving back to the community. This philosophy goes back several decades to when his grandfather founded ThompsonGas.”

All proceeds from the golf outing benefit The Washington County Volunteer Fire Department as well as Hospice of Washington County.

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words! It certainly looks like everyone had a great time!
